Bennett, Pansy I. (Marriage - 16 JUN 1928)

A wedding of unusual interest was consummated Saturday, June 16, 1928, when Miss Pansy I. Bennett, daughter of Mr. Fred Bennett of Unity, Wis., became the bride of Mr. Fred E. Brandt, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Brandt who live west of Withee.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. O. Hoffman at the Evangelical Lutheran Parsonage at Withee, Clark County, Wis., at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

After the ceremony the young couple drove to Greenwood where the wedding pictures were taken.

The bride was beautifully gowned in Beige Georgette trimmed with cream lace, carrying a shower bouquet of roses and carnations.

Miss Viola S. Brandt as bridesmaid wore a gown of two-tone Grecian Rose and tan Georgette and carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas.

The groom was attended by Gilbert A. Meyer of Greenwood.

A seven o'clock reception was held at the home of the groom's parents, west of the village, only immediate relatives and friends being present. The home was beautifully decorated in tan and rose crepe paper with a profusion of flowers.

The bride has made her home with her grandmother at Colby for the past twenty years, since her mother's death, and is well and favorably known at Colby and vicinity. The groom has for the past thirteen years been employed by the John S. Owen Lumber Co., at Owen.

The young couple will reside on the groom's farm west of Withee.

They have a large circle of friends who join in wishing them success and happiness in their new life.
