Word was received by relatives here yesterday of the death of Mrs. Joseph Reed [spelling?] at her home at Loyal, Wis., at nine o'clock that morning. Mrs. Reed was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roedl and was born in the town of Beaver Dam about 56 years ago. She was married in this city thirty-five years ago to Joseph Reed[spelling? Rueth] of Jefferson and for many years they resided on a farm in the town of Beaver Dam, going from here to Loyal about sixteen years ago. Besides her husband, she leaves nine children to mourn her loss, three daughters and six sons. The following brothers, all residents of this city, also survive: Peter, Frank, George, John, Martin and Jacob Roedl. The last four named, together with Frank J. Roedl and John Kastenmeier and sons George and Leo, went to Loyal this morning to attend the funeral.
