MRS. CECILIA PETERSON

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Griebenow Funeral Home for Mrs. Cecilia Peterson, 56, who died Monday noon after a long illness at her home northwest of Withee.

The Rev. Rostad officiated at the services. Rev. and Mrs. Rostad sang her favorite hymns. Burial was at Riverside cemetery. Pallbearers were H. O. Watson, Thomas Miller, Hans C. Hansen, Peter Swanson, Peter Jensen and Rudolph Borgeson.

Cecilia Peterson was born September 5, 1883, in Stockhom, Sweden, and came to America in 1906 and made her home in Moline, Ill. She was married to Gust Peterson on July 10, 1913, in Chicago. After their marriage they made their home in Rock Island, Ill., until 1921 when they moved to Ladysmith. Four years later they came to their farm northwest of Withee where the family now resides. In 1938 they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Peterson leaves to mourn, besides her husband, one daughter, Frances; three sons, John, Henry and Richar; ;and a sister and two brothers in Sweden; also a large number of friends and neighbors.
