REV. R. ORTMAYER EXHANGED VOWS WITH MISS TURNER

Ceremony Was Performed Tuesday Morning At St. Katherine's Church

Dec. 30, 1941

At 9:30 Tuesday morning at St Katherine's Episcopal Church, Miss Marian Turner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Turner of Phillips, and the Rev. R. E. Ormayer of St. Kateerine's Episcopal church, Owen, exchanged the holy vows of matrimony.

The ceremony was held with Bishop Frank Wilson of Eau Claire reading the marriage service and the Rev. John E. Hilton of Oconto, celebrated the Holy Eucharist.

Miss Turner dressed in a white wool street dress and wearing a matching turbin was attended by her sister, Ethel of Phillips.

The bridegroom was attended by Everett Jacobsen, a close friend.

The couple are highly respected in the community and have the best wishes of their many friends. For the past year and half the bride has taught home economics in the Owen school system. The bridegroom has been here for the past seven years, serving St. Katherine's parish and is head of the local Boy Scout troop and has been extremely active in other community activities.

The couple will be at home after Friday, Jan. 2, at their apartment in the First Ward.
