PEDERSEN-BROSSOW

Mr. and Mrs. Soren C. Pedersen of Withee, announce the marriage of their daughter, Caroline, to Captain Glenn C. Brossow, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Brossow of Withee.

Red and white gladioli and potted ferns furnished the setting for the 5 o'clock candlelight service which was performed at the Army Air Bace Chapel at Morrison Field, West Palm Beach, Florida, on December 27, 1942. The wedding ceremony was conducted by Chaplain Cunningham of the Caribbean Wing, of the Army Air Forces. Attendeants were Miss Estelle Gettles of Blufton, Ohio, and Lt. James Griffith of Palm Beach, Florida, who also repeated their vows at the same time.

For their wedding the brides were attired identically in smartly tailored suits of winter white gabardine. Delphinium blue accessories and a shoulder corsage of red carnations completed theirensemble. For her travel suit, Mrs. Browssow chose an aqua colored wool ensemble with red fox fur trim and coffee tan accessories.

Following the ceremony the bridal guest were entertained at a dinner at the Officers' Club at Morrison Field.

Mrs. Brossow is a former graduate of the Withee High School and the Eau Claire State Teacher's College, and is employed as Primary Instructor at Withee.

Captain Brossow is a graduate of Northland College with the class of 1934. Prior to his enlistment in the army on March 6, 1942, Mr. Brossow was a member of the Withee High School faculty. He served for four years as Staff Intelligence Office with the Army Air Force, 25 months of which were spent overseas in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre. Captain brossow was placed on inactive status on February 22, and has returned temporarily to his former position as mathematics instructor at Withee.
