Helene Maria Harriman, age 83, Owen, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 1977 at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley, Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen on Saturday, November 19, 1977, with the Rev. Lloyd Yaggie officiating. Burial services followed at the Town of Lynn Cemetery.

The deceased, formerly of Chili, Wisconsin, was born on May 30, 1894 in the Township of Lynn. She was born Helen Maria Anding. She was married to Adna Harriman of Neillsville on July 1, 1914. She lived most of her life in the Chili and Lynn area.

Shew as owner and operator of the Farmers Tavern from 1915 to 1956. Her husband preceded her in death on January 3, 1938.

Mrs. Harriman is survived by one son, Corliss Harriman of Kohler, Wisconsin; two brothers, Charles Anding of Neillsville and Richard Anding of Pontiac, Michigan, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
