Eisenhart, Florence (28 Augl 1881 - 24 NOV 1914)

The Death Angel entered another home in our community (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) Tuesday and took from it the wife and mother. Mrs. Henry Eisenhart died of convulsions at about noon, after giving birth to a child. Medical aid was of no avail, and death followed after a few hours of suffering.

Mrs. Eisenhart, whose maiden name was Florence Clark, was in the thirty-third year of her age, being born near Neillsville, Clark County Aug. 26, 1881. The family moved to Merrill, where she grew to womanhood. About thirteen years ago she returned here, and on July 13, 1902, was united in marriage with Mr. Henry Eisenhart. To them were born seven children, two being deceased. There are mourning the death of this much respected young woman, her husband, three little sons, two daughters, her father, George Clark, and step-mother, whose home is in Iowa, two half-sisters, one half-brother, and a number of relatives in this vicinity, besides a large circle of friends.

The funeral services were held at the German Reformed Church on Thanksgiving Day, and were attended by a large number of friends. Rev. H. G. Schmid preached the funeral sermon. The remains were laid at rest in the Mentor Cemetery.
