Calvary Lutheran (Vacation Church School - 1972)

“Neighbor” is the theme for the vacation church school planned for June 5-16 at Calvary Lutheran Church. The weekday 9-11:30 a.m. sessions are available to all children of the community, from those entering kindergarten through those who have completed the sixth grade.

The course includes a study of the Christian’s life in his own neighborhood and the world neighborhood of today. Refreshments will be served each day and a free-will offering will be taken each Friday to help defray expenses.

Mr. Roger Heineck is the vacation church school superintendent. Members of the staff are as follows: Mrs. Ron Seybold, pre-school; Mrs. Laverne Hammen, Kindergarten: Mrs. Chuck Jordahl, grade 1; Mrs. Kendall Smith, grade 2; Mrs. Melvin Lindau, grade 3; Mrs. Gerald Makie and Mrs. Melvin Appleyard, grade 4; Glen Wilcox, grade 5; Wilfred Galstad and Mrs. Donald Clemens, grade 6. An installation ceremony will be held at the 9 a.m. worship service Sunday morning.
