Originally published in the Stratford Journal, Thursday, 16 May 1935

The free electricity rates as advertised in the Journal this week and last week, do not apply to the village of Stratford. The rates only apply to the rural customers out of Stratford, of the Wisconsin Public Service Corporation, and people are warned that the users in the village will be charged for the electricity used.

Progressive Corners

George Dunbar is working at the Charles Parmer home.

Miss Edna Hagen is employed at the Frank Seidl’s.

Miss Marie Seidl had her tonsils removed at Dr. Kroeplins Friday.
