Walter Demming has gone to Greenwood.

The Epworth League gave a penny and guess sociable at the home of Mrs. Edna Lawrence, Wednesday evening.

Elsie Rogers visited her sister at Hogan last week.

Dirk Algia of Melvina, was the guest of Joe Rondorf the past week.

Norman Shafer and Mrs. Frank Potter have returned home.

Noel Rogers bought 40 acres of land from Len Whitcomb last week. Consideration $700.

Frank Turner, Bill Hawks and Arthur Garvin have each purchased 40 acres near Chili.

H. W. Visgar of Granton, was welcome caller here Wednesday.

A report from Hogan says that Ed Bailey, formerly of this place, is dangerously ill.

Olive Humiston, Floy King and F. Snyder attended teacher’s examination at Neillsville last week.

A spelling school was held in Dist. No. 3 Thursday evening.

Jesse Mortimer was the champion speller.

Levi Fulwiler has rented his father-in-law’s farm and will try his luck at farming.

Fred Cole of Neillsville, spent a few days with Al Turner the first of the week.

Now is the time to subscribe for the Press, and obtain a genuine detective story.

J. J. Rowe returned home from Plymouth Friday.

The I.O.G.T. held a sub-district lodge here Saturday night.

Mrs. Algia, of Melvina, has come to live with her daughter, Mrs. Joe Rondorf.

Delbert Benedict of Withee, visited his parents here last week. He and his wife left for LaCrosse Monday.

Mrs. Brooks of Lynn, was in our midst a short time Friday.

A. Benedict made a trip to Loyal last Saturday.

Mryta Bolton of Humbird, was the guest of Floy and Ethel King Sunday.

Will and George Huff left last week for Montana.
