Smith, Bernice (11 OCT 1932)

Bernice Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith, Granton, became the bride of Sidney Worrall of Beloit at a ceremony which was performed Tuesday morning Oct. 11, at 11 o’clock by the Rev. Longenecker of Neillsville, at the home of the bride’s parents, which was decorated for the occasion in autumn leaves and crepe paper streamers. The wedding march was played by Miss Dorothy Poulton.

The bride was attired in white satin with white accessories and carried an arm bouquet of roses and white carnations. Miss Mildred Smith, sister of the bride who served as bridesmaid, wore blue flat crepe with blue accessories and a shoulder bouquet of pink roses and babies breath. Hilda Winless (?spelling), niece of the bride, served as flower girl and was dressed in yellow organdy. The groom was attended by Donald Fulton of Rhinelander, as best man.

Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served to about 40 guests. An out of town guest was Mrs. Rebekah Thompson, Beloit an aunt of the groom.

Mr. and Mrs. Worrall left on a wedding trip to Longlake, Minn., and will be at home to their friends after Oct. 22, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in Waupaca where they are employed.
