Rahm, Lucile E. (19 MAR 1918 - 20 SEP 2005)

Lucille Esther Rahm, 87, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at her home. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23, at Community Funeral Home, Spencer. The rev.Kenneth A. Dix officiated. Burial was in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery, town of Sherman. Pallbearers were Kerry Hansen, Kurt Hansen, Michael Rahm, Keith Rahm, Todd Rahm and Douglas Ayer.

Lucille Esther Ayer was born on March 19, 1918, in Riplinger, to Walter and Esther (nee Wittlinger) Ayer. She attended school in Riplinger and graduated from Loyal High School. She married William Rahm on April 5, 1937, in the town of Sherman. She was a farm wife who loved flowers, raising canaries, doing crossword puzzles, TV, collecting clocks, and her family.

Survivors include one son, Emery (JoAnne) Rahm, Colby; one daughter, Sandy (Donald) Hansen, Unity; her sisters, Lenore Vanderhoof, Marshfield, and Elaine (Owen) Hanson, Apache Junction, Ariz.; Her sister-in-law, Helen Ayer, Unity; her grandchildren, Kerry (Lori) Hanson, Kurt Hansen, Michael (Barb) Rahm, Keith (Lynn) Rahm, Susan (Rick) Keema, Linda Rahm, and Todd (Barb) Rahm, her great-grandchildren, Mskenna Rahm, Morgan Rahm, Brittany Hansen, Nick Hansen, Kyle Hansen, Stacy Hansen, Jordan Rahm, Jeremy Rahm, Chelsea Rahm, Joshua Rahm, Brittany Keema, Taylor Keema, Jace Keema and Audrey Rahm; and her step-great-grandchildren, Ryan Landini, Kristin Landini, and Jamie (Travis) Wolfe.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, William, her son, Richard; and her brothers, Verland Ayer and Melvin Ayer.

Community Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted the family with arrangements.
