Strauss, Christina Anna (16 Fev. 1915 - 22 July 2005)

OWEN - Christina Anna Strauss, 90, Owen, died July 22, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, where she was admitted on July 18.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, Wis. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle, Colo.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Christina was born Feb. 16, 1915, in Allegheny County, Pa., the daughter of Rudy and Anna Satonica. She was united in marriage Aug. 6, 1941, in Rifle, Colo., to Harry Strauss. He preceded her in death.

She was employed with several factories in Colorado and in the early 1980s was employed with the former Teledyn Post Company of Owen, Wis. She also did housekeeping in private homes and was a caregiver.

She is survived by her sister, Sara Fischer of Greenville, Pa.; four brothers, Nick (Margaret) Satonica of Withee, Sam (Ida) Satonica of Owen, Dan (Selma) Satonica of Berrien Springs, Mich., and Mike (Amelia) Satonica of Cadott.
