Kallberg, Lester (30 Dec. 1917 - 22 Dec. 2002)

Owen - Lester Kallberg, 84, formerly of Owen, died Dec. 22, 2002, at Continental Manor Nursing Home in Abbotsford, Wis.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, Wis. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

He was born Dec. 30, 1917, in Chicago to Gustav and Jenny (Petersen) Kallberg. He married Beverly Fischer on Feb. 23, 1963. They farmed in the town of Green Grove until retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Kallberg of Owen; children, Gary (Theresa) Kallberg of Fairbanks, Alaska, Greg (Mary) Kallberg of Owen, Carl Kallberg of Owen and Melanie (Randy) DeCoster of Chilton. He is further survived by nine grandchildren.
