Frank Gillespie started on his return trip to Etna, W.T., on Monday last, after unloading himself of several good sized fish and big pine land stories. Also one in regard to a grape vine twenty inches at the butt which bore six tons of grapes this season. Oh, Frank! may you richly enjoy the good things in this world as it is hard telling what will become of you in the next.

Owing to the heavy rains on Saturday evening last the dance held by the National Cornet Band was somewhat slimly attended. They will therefore give another dance to-morrow (Saturday) evening, and invite everybody to attend. The boys are practicing new music right along and will give the best of satisfaction and guarantee a good time to all attending.

The Ladies Social Circle will meet with Mrs. Green, Thursday afternoon and evening, Sept 26th. Ice cream will be served........Mrs. Maston, Sec.
