Mary Sturmer was born in Sweden, June 21st, 1827, and was united in marriage with John Lindburg in 1857; she came with her husband to this country about 15 years ago, they having been preceded here a couple of years by their sons, they soon purchased and moved on the farm where she died, on section six, about one mile east of Abbotsford, Wis. She leaves to mourn her death, a husband and two sons, August and Otto, one son having preceded her across that dark river.

The funeral was held at the church in Abbotsford and the remains interred in Colby Cemetery, a Swedish minister of the Lutheran faith, officiating.
