Married, at St. Kilian’s Church in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Monday, Aug. 9th, 1897, by Rev. Adolph Miller, Mr. Thomas C. Casey of Madison, S.D., and Miss Mary Travers of Abbotsford, Wis.

Mr. Casey was formerly in the employ of the W.C. Company but for several years past has been operating his fine farm near Madison, S.D. He has many friends and acquaintances at Abbotsford, who speak very highly of him, as a young man of more than ordinary merit, and all hold him in respect.

Miss Travers has been a resident of Abbotsford for some years, and has always been held in the highest esteem by her many acquaintances and every acquaintance is a friend.

The wedding party was attended by a number of friends from Abbotsford and after the ceremony the following sat down to a wedding breakfast at the Commercial House: Rev. Adolph Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Casey, the bridal couple, John Welsh and wife, H. Travers, Mrs. O. Hughes, Mrs. Anderson and daughter of Abbotsford, Mrs. Morgan and son of Chicago, and Mrs. Julius Wolf of this city.

The happy couple will leave for their home at Madison, S.D., Monday, and will be accompanied by the hearty congratulations and best wishes of a host of friends.
