Died, at her home in the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., at midnight, Saturday night, Mrs. Ernestine, beloved wife of Wm. Kowalk, in her thirty-second year.

Ernestine Sill was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sill of this city. She was born in Rummelsburg, Pommern, Germany, March 15th, 1868; and came to this city soon after her parents, or about 12 years ago, and was united in marriage with Wm. Kowalk in 1889.

On Sunday, Dec 24th, she gave birth to a daughter and for a time seemed to be getting along finely, but blood poisoning set in and caused her death.

She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, three sons, an infant daughter, her parents and two brothers.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from Zion’s Church, Rev. A. Kuring officiating.
