Raatz, Albert (23 July 1874 - 1949)

Owen - Funeral services for Albert Raatz, 74, who died last Friday, were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home. The Rev. J. A. Olson officiated.

Burial was made in the Colby Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Elmer Elstrom, Albert Mandel, John Miller, Julius Lange, John Untiedt, and Edwin Awe.

Mrs. J. A. Olson, Mrs. Henry Binning, and Mrs. Alfred Johnson, sang, "My Ivory Palace Home," and "Beyond the Sunset."

Albert Raatz was born, July 23, 1874, in Germany. He came to this country as a youth and settled with his family in Dodge County. He later bought a farm in the Town of Green Grove and has made his home there for the last 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and two brothers.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
