Married, at the residence of M. Kaudy, Sr. in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Thursday, May 4th, 1899, by Rev. S.A. Hoffman of Cumberland, Mr. Math. Kaudy, Jr. of Thorp, Clark Co., and Miss Emma Badtke of the town of Frankfort, Marathon Co.
Mat was bound to beat the marriage license law and he did it. They went to their home in Thorp, Monday evening, accompanied by the best wishes of their many friends.
