Dubois, Ida M. (21 SEP 1857 - 15 OCT 1901)

Died, at her home in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Tuesday morning, Oct. 15th, 1901, of pleurisy, Ida M., beloved wife of Meritt Dubois, aged 44 years and 24 days.

Ida M. Freeman was born at Williamstown, N.Y., Sept 21st, 1857, and was united in marriage with Meritt Dubois at Saginaw, Mich., about twenty-two and one half years ago, and to this union there were born one daughter, Ethel, and one son, Meritt, Jr., both of whom survive her, and with her husband mourn a true wife, a kind, patient and indulgent mother.

The family came to this city in November 1898, nearly three years ago, since when Mrs. Dubois has been held in the highest esteem and respect by all her acquaintances. She was a woman of the most lovable temperament.

Short services were held at the house yesterday, after which the remains were taken to the depot and place aboard the train for Caro, Mich.

Rev. E.G. Vischer will deliver a memorial sermon for Mrs. Dubois next Sunday morning at the M.E. Church.
