On Wednesday, Oct. 30, occurred the wedding of Miss Iva Janette Zimmerman, and Mr. Oliver Frederick Happe, at the Immanuel Evangelical Church in Chili, Wis., with the Rev. G. W. Zimmerman, father of the bride, reading the ceremony.

The bridal party was attended by Mrs. Elry Zimmerman, sister-in-law of the bride, as matron of honor, and Miss Lucille Happe, siste of the groom, as bridesmaid, with Mr. Lyle Zimmerman, brother of the bride, "giving the bride away," Mr. Wesley Happe, brother of the groom, acted as best man.

The bride was gowned in a pretty creation of white satin, floor length, and white kid slippers. A bridal veil of white silk, with a cap of fine chantilly patterned lace, trimmed in orange blossoms and silk cord, and carried a Colonial bouquet of white roses.

The maid of honor wore a floorlength gown of blue silk crepe, trimmed in graceful lines with self material, and a shoulder corsage of carnations and sweet peas.

The bridesmaid wore a gown of blue silk crepe, trimmed with velevet and floorlength, and a shoulder corsage of carnations and sweet peas.

The groom was attired in navy blue, as was each of the other young men, and each wore a button bouquet of white carnations.

For the ceremony, Mrs. Albert Grimm presided at the piano, and Elry Zimmerman, brother of the bride, sang "At Dawning," and "O Promise Me." The ushers being Milo Lindow, and Arthur Happe, Jr., a brother of the groom.

Following the ceremony, and inhonor of the bridal party, a reception was given at the Evangelical parsonage in Chili, where the parents of the bride reside. At 6:30 p.m. in the evening, the company repaired to the church parlors, where a wedding dinner was served to the invited guest, the tables being arranged in the form of the letter "H", seating all the guests at once.

The dinning room and table were decorated in royal blue and white, with table bouquets of white buttom chrysanthemums. The chancel of the church was decorted with ferns.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Happe, Sr., of the town of Fremont, and is a graduate of the Granton High School. The bride is the only daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Zimmerman, and is a graduate of the Sparta High School.

Mr. Happe is a salesman for the Big Four Farmers Co-op Oil Co., of Chili, and having purchased a residence there, Mr. and Mrs. Happe will be at home to their friends after Nov. 1.

They were presented with many fine gifts, including silverware, glassware, earthen ware, china, rugs, furniture, pictures, electrical appliances and lamps.

DeKoker, of Albion, Mich.; Mrs. Jennie Godfrew and Miss Minnie Godfrey, of Walworth, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Elry Zimmerman, of Sparta, Wis.; Mrs. Ida Bandt, of Ripon, Wis.; Rev. and Mrs. August Happe, of Eau Claire, Wis.; Rev. and Mrs. M. J. Roehrdanz, of Areadia, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Happe, of Osseo, Wis.; Mrs. Minnie Higbee, of Walworth, Wis.; and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Klaetsch, of Fond du Lac, Wis.
