W. E. Poppe and wife were up from Withee on Saturday last visiting with friends.

John Adams has moved into his residence in town, from his farm in the town of Withee.

Geo. B. Parkhill attended the inauguration exercises of Gov. Upham at Madison on Monday.

A social dance was held at Waldorf's hall, on Saturday evening last, a large number participating.

Rev. J. B. Bachman and wife returned here from their visit at Emmetsburg, Iowa, on Saturday last.

The Courier was mistaken last week when it stated that Mrs. J. G. Soloman had made an application for divorce. She has taken no steps in that direction.

Wm. Webster came in from Gormley's camp on Friday last with a crushed foot, and will be unable to attend to his job as loader for a few days in consequences.
