The marriage of Miss Marie Antonia Misslich, daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Misslich of Keyesville, to Emil Umhoefer, son of Paul and Theresia Umhoefer of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., took place, Tuesday, June 14th, 1910, at St. Mary’s Church in Keyesville, Rev. Father Sachnit solemnized the ceremony and Rev. H.C. Hengell, Chaplain of St. Paul’s University Chapel, Madison, cousin of the bride, also took part in the ceremony.

The bride wore a gown of white charmouse satin trimmed with pearls and a tulle veil. Miss Margaret Misslich was maid of honor and was gowned in a silver green satin trimmed in silver, the bridesmaids were Miss Clara Umhoefer of Colby, sister of the groom, Miss Alvina Schraufnagel of Glidden, and Miss Ann Schraufnagel of Colby, they were gowned alike in silver green satin and carried white carnations. The groom was attended by his brother Anton, and the ushers were Bert, Mendel and Theophelus Misslich, brothers of the bride, Little Tessie Umhoefer, sister of the groom, and Verena Misslich, niece of the bride, stretched the ribbons and little Bertilli Misslich, niece of the bride, carried the bride’s bouquet of cream bride’s roses.

After the ceremony there was a small reception at the bride’s home, only the family and near relatives being present.

The couple left for a trip in the east and will be at home to their friends after Sept. 1st in Colby.
