Miss Bernice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Slowiak, and Edward, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Olichwier, of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Czestochowa, on Tuesday, June 25th, 1935, at nine o’clock, Rev. Father Slez performing the ceremony. The bride wore a gown of white satin, with a three-quarter length veil, and carried an arm bouquet of white roses, sweet peas and baby breath. She was attended by three bridesmaids, Miss Frances Slowiak, sister of the bride, Louis Leja and Rose Slowiak. They all wore gowns of baby blue taffeta with head bands to match and carried bouquets of pink roses and blue delphiniums. Little Helen Slowiak, sister of the bride, acted as flower girl, wearing a white dress with flower head band to match and carried a basket of white roses and sweet peas. The groom was attended by Leon Moczarny, Louis Slowiak and Chester Rojtek, all wearing dark suits.
Following the ceremony a dinner and supper were served to eighty families.
The newlyweds will live on a farm north of Thorp.
