Demmer, Joseph Sr. (22 JAN 1831 - 11 FEB 1913)

Joseph Demmer Sr., an old Colby, Clark Co., Wis. resident, died at Chippewa Falls on Tuesday, Feb. 11th, 1913, of old age. Joseph Jordan, his son-in-law, went to Chippewa Falls on the Tuesday evening train, and arranged for the remains to be shipped here Friday morning. Mr. Demmer was living there with his son Joseph, and when last seen in Colby, a few months ago, was apparently in excellent health for one who had passed the four score mark.

The funeral will be held from St. Mary’s Church, Friday morning, at 10 o’clock, Rev. H.J. Artmann officiating.
