Baumgart, Lena (31 MAR 1913)

A very pretty wedding took place Monday afternoon, at 2:30 o’clock when Miss Lena Baumgart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baumgart of this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage to Max Prange, also of Colby, at the Zion Lutheran Church. The bride was attended by Miss Ella Kuentz as maid of honor, who wore a gown of yellow messaline and carried white carnations and ferns, and by Miss Minnie Braun, who was dressed in pink messaline and carried pink carnations and ferns. The bride was tastefully attired in white silk. Her shower bouquet of lilies of the valley was very beautiful. The groom has for his attendants, Otto Prange as best man, and August Prange as groomsman. The bridal party entered the church to the strains of Lohengrin’s "Wedding March."

After the ceremony, a host of relatives and friends gathered at the home of the bride’s parents, where a bountiful wedding dinner was served. The decorations were of smilax and carnations.

The groom is making good in the employ of the Soo Line and a member of D. E. Sullivan’s steam shovel crew, which is at present located at North Fond du Lac. The young couple will reside in Marshfield.

Their many relatives and friends are with the Phonograph in extending congratulations. And best wishes for a happy future.
