Redman, Mrs. Sadie (Marriage - 4 Nov. 1936)

Mr. Carl A. Nelson of Greenwood Route 4, and Mrs. Sadie Redman of Sherwood Township were united in marriage at the home of the groom’s sister, Mrs. Gladys Krogness, Greenwood, today Nov. 4, Rev. G. W. Longenecker of the Neillsville Congregational Church officiating, the double ring ceremony being used.

Mr. Lloyd Hamier of Greenwood acted as beset man, and the groom’s sister, Mrs. Gladys Krogness was matron of honor.

The bride wore a dress of wine colored chiffon velvet and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Mrs. Krogness wore a rust colored silk dress and carried pink and white carnations.

A fine wedding dinner was served at Mrs. Krogness’ home.

The groom is a successful farmer and is highly respected by all who know him. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1910, and is a man of keen intelligence and high character.

The bride has lived in the town of Sherwood for 20 years and has a wide circle of admiring friends, not only in that community, but also in Neillsville, Granton, and other places in this part of the state. She has always taken an active part in the social, industrial and religious life of her community and has been an efficient leader and helper in all forward movements.

They will reside on the groom’s farm at Greenwood, Route 4.

The bride was for a long time the Press correspondent in Sherwood and our heartiest good wishes are extended to her and her husband.
