Zaeske, Minnie Emma (1 Sept. 1883 - 17 Feb. 1937)

Mrs. Minnie Emma Zaeske was born Sept. 1, 1883 at Carpentersville, Illinois, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Pundt. At that place she spent her youth, being confirmed on April 11, 1897. On June 5, 1907 Miss Minnie Pundt was married to Otto Zaeske from her home town. The young couple resided at Carpentersville for five years, at Huntley, Illinois for another five years, coming to our city in 1917. Their union was blessed with four sons; one infant son preceded the mother in death. The past year found Mrs. Zaeske in failing health and since Dec. 1 of last year she was confined to her bed. Loving hands ministered to her untiringly. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Zaeske shared life’s journey for 29 years, 8 months, and 12 days.

Mrs. Otto Zaeske calmly fell asleep in death last Wednesday morning, Feb. 17, at 12:45 o’clock at the age of 53 years, 5 months and 16 days.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Mr. Zaeske; three sons, Alfred of East Troy; Elmer and Lester at home; two brothers, Ernest of Carpentersville and Paul of Elgin, Illinois; two sisters, Martha, Mrs. John Pufpaff, Bertha, Miss Pundt, both of Carpentersville.
