Facklam, Minnie (13 JUN 1879 - 6 MAY 1934)

Mrs.. Minnie Facklam passed away at her home in the Town of Sherman at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 1934, after a long and weary illness lasting eight weeks. Cause of death was Addison’s disease.

The deceased was born in Germany June 13, 1879 and was married to Henry Facklam Dec. 23, 1922, in the town of Sherman. Besides her husband she leaves five children, Adolph, William, and Harry Krueger and Esther and Irma Facklam, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Bertha Bredlau; three step-brothers, Fred, John and Emil Bredlau; one brother, Adolph Jaeger, Spencer, and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Wenzel and Mrs. Martha Abel of Milwaukee. She was a member of the Lutheran church and was well known as a thoughtful, kind and gracious hostess, a loving mother and a fine woman to have for a neighbor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The funeral was held Thursday at the home at 1:30 p.m. and the church at 2:00 p.m. Rev. A. C. Stapel officiating. Interment in Spencer cemetery.
