Kuhn, Mr./Mrs. Bernard (41st - 25 Aug. 1981)

Kuhn Family reunion draws many from across nation

The fourteen children of Bernard and Ruby Kuhn, along with other relatives and friends, recently gathered at the Town of Washburn Hall to celebrate the 41st wedding anniversary of their parents.

The family members, along with the help of Hallie and Ruth Schultz, relatives from Omro, planned the surprise gala. Featured was a blue and white trimmed cake which matched room decorations. Hallie also joined Harley Rodman, a relative from Wyoming, and Mildred Rodman, a relative from Neillsville, in providing special piano and fiddle music.

The celebration was planned to occur when several of the relatives gathered to celebrate reunions of the high school classes of 1931 and 1941.

Bernard and Ruby Kuhn were married on August 25, 1940, by the Rev. Romstad at the Norwegian Lutheran parsonage in Black River Falls.

Attending the reunion were George and Karoline Kuhn, Sun City, AZ; Robert (Bunny) Kuhn, Janesville; Gertrude Steffens, Chicago; Larry and Luella Bartlett, Pittsburgh, PA; Leonard and Jimmy Schultz and Hallie and Ruth Schultz, all of Omro; Birdine Oman, Jackson, MI; Robert Rodman, Monico; Harley and Me Me Rodman and daughters, Glenrock, WY; and Mildred Rodman, Neillsville, Wis.

Also attending were Roger and Mildred Gumz and family and Robert and Sylvia Hopfer and family, all of Milwaukee; Pat Sorenson and sons, Wisconsin Rapids; Jim and Beck Kuhn and son Matt, Cashton; Paul and Judy Groskreutz and family, Oshkosh; Dave and Diane Froehlich and daughter Beth, Schofield; John and Lois Garbisch and daughter Alisa, Granton; and Bill and Cheryl Kuhn and family, Ken and Eileen Kuhn and family, Wendell and Linette Kuhn and family, DeWayne and Vicki Dux, Ed and Jane Kuhn and daughter, Tammy, and Mary Ellen and Virginia Kuhn, all of Neillsville, Wis.
