Zahnzinger, Anna (20 March 1885 - 7 May 1938)

Mrs. Anna Zahnzinger (nee) Schuelke, was born on March 20, 1885, at Granton, Wis., to Carl and Mathilda Schuelke and passed away at her home in Waukesha, Wis., on May 7th after a lingering illness of two years, at the age of 53 years, 1 month and 17 days.

She was married to Fred Zahnzinger on Sept. 30, 1908, at Granton. They went to Waukesha to make their home and have lived there ever since. Mrs. Zahnzinger was a member of St. Luke’s church and was very active in church circles.

Those who survive her are her husband, Fred Zahnzinger, three sisters, Amanda and Alma Schuelke and Laura (Mrs. Henry Paape) all of Milwaukee, and six brothers, Henry and August of Granton, Carl of Cobb, William of Ridgeway, Herman of Milwaukee and Alfred of Chicago, Ill.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 10th, from Gasper’s funeral home and St. Luke’s church. Rev. Kramer officiated with interment being made at Prairie Home Cemetery.
