O’Brien, Genevieve (Marriage - 31 August 1938)

Miss Genevieve O’Brien, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William O’Brien, and Claire Marshall, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Marshall, was united in marriage August 31, at Waukon, Ia., Justice John G. O’Brien officiating.

Immediately after the ceremony they left on a trip to Minneapolis, returning by way of Winona, La Crosse and Wisconsin Rapids, spending a couple of days with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Sischo at the Rapids.

Mrs. Marshall was graduated from Neillsville high school with the class of 1927. She worked at the Kearns drug store for six or seven years, where she proved herself an efficient and courteous clerk, and her charming personality won her many friends.

Mr. Marshall attended the Melrose high school, graduating there from in 1926. He also attended the Wisconsin Business College at La Crosse and for six years was employed in the Bank of Melrose. He came to Neillsville to establish the Webb Oil Station, which he operates.

The couple will make their home in Neillsville, where they have a host of friends who with them the best that life affords.
