Neimag, August (24 AUG 1873 - 11 NOV 1930)

The body of August Neimag was brought here Tuesday afternoon from Eau Claire where he had passed away that morning at about 9:30 o’clock, death taking place at the Luther Hospital at which institution he had been a patient since September 9.

The cause of Mr. Neimag’s death was attributed to influenza and neuritis, from which he had been a sufferer since entering the hospital. He was 57 years og age, and had always made his home with his father, Edward Neimag, two and one-half miles west of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) in the town of Hixon. He was one of the industrious and prominent farmers of that vicinity. Besides his father, he leaves to mourn, one brother, Otto, and two sisters.

He was born August 24, 1873 in Germany and came to this country when a boy, and for the past thirty years or more has lived in this vicinity.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home, Rev. W.P. Powell, pastor of the Congregational Church of Owen, officiating, and burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery
