Herrmann, Clinton (8 Sept. 1931 - 29 Aug. 2006)

Clinton Herrmann, 74, Eden, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006 at Kathy Hospice, West Bend.

He was born in Colby on Sep. 8, 1931, the son of Oscar and Bertha (Ebert) Hermann. On Sep. 3, 1950, he married Norma Erbsen in Shannon, Illinois. Mr. Herrmann farmed in his early years and then went into sales as manager for Stanley Home Products and later as an insurance agent. He was also involved in the family businesses Eden Meat Market, Eden Corner Express and Eden Café and Catering. Mr. Herrmann was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church and a former member of Eden Lions Club and West Bend Kiwanis. He enjoyed being active in community activities and enjoying their lake property in Wild Rose.

Survivors include his wife, Norma; his children, Calvin (Cindy) Herrmann, Eden, Cindy (Chuck) Bunkelmann, West Bend and Cathy (Darrel) Duehring, Eden; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his brother; Edward, Colby; and his sister; Irene (Royal) Awe, Marshfield.

Funeral Services were held Aug 31 at Tabor United Methodist Church, Eden. The Rev. Nancy Green presided and cremation followed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be used for cancer research and Eden Community Projects.
