Drace, Lorraine L. (March 22, 1928 - July 14, 2002)

Lorraine L. Drace, age 74, of 3420 Midvale, Janesville, WI, died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at University Hospital, Madison.

She was born in Thorp, WI on March 22, 1928, the daughter of Bernard and Stella (Kot) Malinowski, and was a graduate of Stanley High School. Lorraine married John Drace on September 12, 1946, in Stanley. She was employed by Parker Pen Ltd. Until retiring in 1983, and had also worked in the bakery at Pick-n-Save. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, John; two sons: George (Carol) Drace of Winter Haven, FL, and Steve Drace of Janesville; three daughters: Christine (Al) Burdick of St. Germain, WI, Joyce (Ken) Lennenger of Orfordville, and Sandra Smith of Reedsburg; 7 grandchildren: Bobbie, Jennifer, Janice, Sharon, Jessica, Julie and Ryan; 2 great-grandsons: Austin and David; a sister, Mary (Jerry) Lui of Racine, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia; 2 granddaughters: Monica and Melanie; and brother, Ed Malinowski.

Private Family services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2002, in the Schneider Funeral Home with Father J. Daryl Furlong officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
