Mrs. C. Crawford of Hilbert was a guest of her daughter, Mrs. O. H. Groelle the latter part of last week. She was on her way home from Mott, N. D.

Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Horn left Sunday for Ashland where they will take charge of a cook car on the W. C. R. They expect to be absent about 5 weeks.

Theopelua W. Creariski democratic candidate for Clerk of Court was here Saturday looking for votes. He was accompanied by Mr. Lukowitz of Colby.

Ed Nelson who has been taking a course in the culinary art under the tutorship of his father on a W. C. R. work train, left Saturday for Jewett Mills where he takes charge of a car for the same company.
