Herman A. Fabian

LOYAL -- Herman A. Fabian, 91, of Loyal, died on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, in the palliative care unit at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. Burial will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Herman Alvin Fabian was born Aug. 13, 1915, in the town of York, Clark County, to Clarence and Ella (Ehlers) Fabian. He grew up in the Greenwood area. He worked as a farmhand around Loyal and Greenwood until 1942, at which time he purchased a farm in the town of Loyal with his parents. Herman retired from farming in 1992 and moved into Loyal where he resided until his death.

He is survived by two sisters, Helen Blyth of Chandler, Ariz., and Elsie Fabian of Loyal.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with arrangements.
