Graham, Lucy (20 March 1896 - *5 March 1908)*Could be off.

Just as went to press last Thursday the sad news of the death of Miss Lucy, the twelve year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Graham was received here.

During the past few years she has had several attacks of peritonitis each subsequent attack being much more severe, the last one came on about two weeks ago it fastened its relentless grip upon the little suffer to such an extent that although the best of medical care and attention was provided no relief could be obtained and as a last resort she was taken to the hospital at Marshfield with the hope that an operation would prove beneficial but her physical condition was too weak to withstand the shock and she never regained consciousness after the operation.

Lucy was born March 20th 1896 and had she lived until the 20th of this month she would have been twelve years old. She was an exceptionally bright and winsome child and by her gentle lovable disposition she captured the hearts of those with whom she came in contact.

The funeral was held from the M. E. church Sunday afternoon, Rev. G. W. Austin of Colby officiating. Interment was made in the Unity Cemetery.

The relatives from out of town who were in attendance were: Mr. and Mrs. J. Chritman of Tony; and Mr. and Mrs. Harley Thayer of Fox Lake.

The bereaved parents have the sincere sympathy of the entire community.

Card of Thanks

We extend to the kind friends and neighbors our heartfelt thanks for the many kindnesses extended after the death and at the burial of our beloved daughter.
