Muir, Zuleike (21 March 1850 - 1908)

The sad news of the death of Mrs. Archie Muir Sr. of March came Tuesday like a thunderbolt from a clear sky. Few of her friends in this vicinity were aware of her illness. She had been afflicted with stomach trouble for some time but it was only during the past two weeks that her condition became serious, the best of medical aid was secured but to no avail. She passed away quietly Tuesday morning, surrounded by all the members of her family. Interment took place at Grand Rapids Wednesday.

Miss Zuleike Cleveland was born March 21,1850 at New Berlin, Waukesha Co. She was married to Archie Muir at Oconomowoc, Dec. 5,1871, to this union was born six children, five of whom are living; George H., of March; Archie R., of Park Falls; Mrs. Madge Morrill, of Grand Rapids; Mrs. Estella Goddard, of Chicago; and Miss Mollie, of March.

The bereaved husband and children have the sincere sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
