Mueller, Ludwig C.

Ludwig C. Mueller, aged father of Geo. Mueller, died at the home of his son William, near Price, at about eight o'clock Wednesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Mueller, both of whom had been in feeble health for several weeks, were taken last Sunday to the home of their son for care, and a daughter from Prairie du Sac, who had been with them, returned to her home. Mr. Mueller was a highly respected old gentleman, and will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends, especially the older ones whom he enjoyed having come to his home for an afternoon's visit. The funeral service will be held at the home of his son where he passed away, on Saturday, and the remains taken from Fairchild by train to Sauk county. The burial will be held Sunday at Denzer. Ludwig Carl Mueller was born Nov. 17, 1845, in Germany, and died Nov. 11, 1925, aged 80 years, and under 6 days. In 1870 he came to this country and settled at Honey Creek, in Sauk county. He was married on July 23, 1874, to Albertine Louise Fenske. Seven children were born to this union, one of whom preceded the father in death. In 1905, in the month of March, Mr. Mueller and his wife moved from Sauk county to Humbird, and this village has since been their home. He leaves to mourn, his wife, four sons, two daughters, one brother, one sister, nine grandchildren, and on great-grandchild.
