Henry Bintzler

FAYETTEVILLE, N.Y. -- Henry Bintzler, 94, a former resident of Chili, died Nov. 3, 2006, in Fayetteville, N.Y.

A memorial service will be held on Nov. 9, and Henry will later be buried in Marshfield.

Henry was born Aug. 25, 1912, in Rozellville to Nicholas and Sophia (Leizakowski) Bintzler. He married Eleanor Stuhr on Nov. 12, 1941. They owned and operated farms in Rozellville and Chili for nearly 35 years. After retirement, he and Eleanor toured all but a few of the 50 states and resided near their daughters in California, Massachusetts and New York.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor, of Fayetteville, N.Y.; two daughters, Jean (James) Myers of Paradise, Calif., and Janet (John) Cerella of Fayetteville, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Steven Gleisner of Bismarck, Mo., Linda Gleisner of Concord, Calif., and Lian Cerella of Fayetteville, N.Y.; and four great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Marie Seaman of Sheboygan.

He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Edward and Nicholas; and a sister, Sophie.
