Mrs. Vincent Mashin died last Monday night at their farm home in section 36, after about a week’s illness, following a stroke. The remains were brought to Kretschimer’s undertaking rooms Tuesday and prepared for burial.

Services were held at the town hall Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, the Rev. V. D. Weidler, officiating. Burial was in Mentor cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Mashin was born in Bohemia on June 17,1873 coming to America in 1892, and in 1894 she was married to Vincent Mashin. They lived in Chicago for a few years and came to the farm in the town of Mentor in 1904. She was 58 years, 6 months, and 1 day old.

The immediate family mourning her death are the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Anna Eastman of Neillsville, and three sons, George of Guttenberg, Ia.; and Edward and Albert at home.
