Kuester, Lydia (16 SEP 1911)

Miss Lydia Kuester, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Kuester, and Mr. Julius Dill, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon, Sept. 16, 1911, at the home of the bride’s parents on the West Side.

The ceremony took place at two o’clock, Rev. Otto Saewert of the German Reformed of the West Side performing the ceremony.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Ella Kuester and Miss Mamie Mund of Globe. The groom was attended by F.A. Horn and Henry Kuester, the latter being the bride’s brother.

A large number of relatives and friends, between two and three hundred, were present to witness the ceremony and participate in the festivities. At five o’clock a bountiful wedding supper was served. Dancing was indulged in during the afternoon and evening.

Those from out of town who were present were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kreisch and two children of Marshfield; Gustaf Reincke of Plymouth, the bride’s uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Ludwig, and Mrs. Sullivan of Dorchester, Brien and Mamie Mund of Globe.

Mr. and Mrs. Dill will go to housekeeping at once in the house just vacated by John Stafford.

The Gleaner joins the many friends of the young couple in wishing them many years of happy wedded life.
