Klentoff, Louis A. (1854? - 31 March 1932)

Louis A. Klentoff, one of the earlier and much respected settlers east of the village, died at the home of his son, George, at Pinewood, in northern Minnesota, on Thursday, March 31st, at the age of 78 years. He had been in failing health for about two years, during which period he was cared for by his son.

Mr. Klentoff, by diligent labor, developed a fine farm in section 15. About fifteen years ago he turned this farm over to his family and went to Minnesota to reside.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mary, and two sons, George and Robert.

The burial was at Pinewood, April 3rd. His son, Robert went from here to attend.
