Walker, Emma Jean (29 Dec. 1857 - 3 Dec. 1932)

Emma Jane Livermore was born December 29,1857 and died December 3, 1932, at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 5 days.

Deceased was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and came to Wisconsin when only a small girl, with her parents driving through with a team wagon. They settled on a farm near Fairchild, where she grew to womanhood.

She was united in marriage to David Walker on October 17, 1875. Her husband preceded her in death on June 14 of this year. Eight children were born unto this union, all of whom survive her.

Mrs. Walker spent all of her married life in and around Fairchild, except for a few years spent at Colfax.

She leaves to mourn her departure, six sons, and two daughters as follows: Charles, of White Salmon, Wash.; Mrs. Fred Ives, of Osseo; Wesley and Mrs. George Fradenburgh, of Humbird; Theodore and Dewey, of Augusta; Cecil, of Altoona; and George of Fairchild. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one brother, Ernest Livermore, of Beaverton, Ore.; and one sister, Mrs. Sam Ensign, of Duluth, Minn.

A kind and loving mother, always patient and contented, she was ready and willing when the call came.

Funeral services were held from the Methodist church in Fairchild on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Charles G. Brown, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment was in the Augusta cemetery.
