Barrett, Opal (8 NOV 1934)

Miss Opal Barrett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Barrett, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and Harry E. Peissig, son of Herman Peissig, Curtiss (Clark Co.), were united in marriage last Thursday at the parsonage of the Reformed Church at Colby, Rev. H.K. Harman officiating.

Carrying flowers, the bride was attired in an informal gown of blue crepe with harmonizing accessories. Her only attendant, Hildegard Peissig, sister of the groom, wore a brown crepe frock with matching accessories. She carried a bouquet of roses, sweet peas and ferns.

After the ceremony which was performed in the presence of immediate relatives, a six o’clock dinner was served at the home of the groom’s sister, Mrs. Henry House.

Mr. and Mrs. Peissig will reside on the groom’s farm near Curtiss, Wis. A wide circle of friends join in wishing them all happiness and a prosperous future.
