Mrs. Aaron Johnson submitted to an operation Monday forenoon, at an Eau Claire hospital, for stoppage in the intestines. The operation was a serious one, but late reports are quite favorable for her recovery.

Other sick ones: Henry Creviston has been confined to his bed the past two weeks with heart trouble and asthma.

August Olson has returned to his work at Merrillan after a week’s leave account of flu and cold.

Mrs. Cooper is able to be up and about the house.

Last Saturday, Wallace Hemmy drove to Eau Claire and brought Steve Tishey home from the hospital. He is recovering from his injurie
