Mohr, Anna Beatrice "Beaty" (July 23, 1914 - April 7, 2005)

Anna Beatrice (Beaty) Mohr (nee Lambert), age 90, passed away on April 7, 2005 at the Oakbrook Nursing Home in Thorp, WI of stomach cancer.

Funeral services for Beatrice were held on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nash Jackson Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Rev. Linda Shearer officiating. Burial was in the Glenview Cemetery.

She was born on July 23, 1914 in the village of Ingram to Modeste and Olena (Peterson) Lambert. Beaty married Raymond Edward Mohr on November 28, 1936.

She was a homemaker and 4-H leader for the Omni Padi Doon 4-H club for many years. She also served as fair superintendent for the cultural arts for several years. She was a great seamstress, and loved to have all the 4-H kids for taffy making and chili. She was an excellent shot and won many turkey shoots.

Beaty was a kind and gently soul to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all.

Raymond passed away on January 11, 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents Modeste and Olena Lambert; brother and sister-in-law Henry and Della Lambert; a sister Dorothy Lambert; sister and brother-in-law Henry and Eva Manula and brother-in-law Clifford Lelm.

She is survived by two daughters: Jean Taylor of Thorp and Donna (Frank) Novotny of Sheldon; four grandchildren: Wade (Debbie) Taylor, Debra (Roberts) Ron Koltis; James Novotny, Sherry (Novotny) David Bastian; great-grandchildren: Chris (Tiffany) Taylor, Jolene and Jesse Novotny, Zack and Nick Bastian and great-great-grandchildren: Spencer and Raven Taylor; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; her sister and brother-in-law Lyle and Doris Lelm; and sister Mary Lelm. She is also survived by two spoiled cats: Tom and Kitten.
