Hansen, Mona M. (25 AUG 1943 - 27 NOV 2006)

Mona M. Hansen, 63, Spencer, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, after a three-years courageous battle with cancer at the House of the dove Hospice Home, Marshfield. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Rembs/ Kundinger Funeral Home, and again on Thursday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark A. Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery with Tom Heinzen, George Heinzen Jr., Ricky Anderson, Gordy Hansen, Randy Ress and Jimmy Bauman Jr. an pallbearers.

Mona M. Ress was born Aug 25, 1943, in Arpin, to Henry and Viola (nee Hamus) Ress, She attended Marshfield schools and married Harold E. Hansen Sr. on Aug. 3, 1963, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield. She was employed at Normington’s Marshfield Canning Company and Figi’s. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, shopping with Debbie on the weekends and taking car rides with her husband.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Debbie (Jay) Moore, Marshfield; two sons, Harold Jr. (fiancé, Tracy Uthmeier), Spencer, and Jerry Hansen. Spencer; three grandchildren, Cody, Casey and Courtney Hansen; three brothers and four sisters, Betty Ress, Spencer, Spencer, Charlene Zychowitz, Poniatoski, Darlene Anderson, Marshfield, Viola (James) Bauman, Mosinee, Lloyd (Ruthie) Ress, Marshfield, Floyd (Debbie) Ress, Marshfield, and Henry (Lori) Ress, Marshfield.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Terry, in infancy.
